Matchday six of the EuroMatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) produced another competitive round of matches across the country, with 15 goals recorded in nine matches completed, while two matches ended in draws.

Ikoi Etta opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Emeka Obioma took center stage, scoring two goals in the 24th and 40th minutes to complete a comfortable home victory for the Abia team.
Ikorodu City also recorded an important 2-0 victory over Rangers International. Aderemi Adeoye put the hosts ahead after eight minutes, while Ikechukwu Junior doubled their lead in the 63rd minute.
Newly promoted Kun Khalifat recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Kwara United, with Igwe Igweuzo scoring the decisive goal in the 64th minute.
Kwara United were reduced to 10 men after Mighty Emmanuel was sent off during the final 30 minutes of the match.
Nasarawa United beat Niger Tornadoes 1-0, with Harrison Ebah scoring the only goal of the match in the 20th minute.
Warri Wolves also took maximum points at home, defeating Shooting Stars 1-0. Othuke Egbo scored in the eighth minute to give the hosts an early lead which they successfully defended until the final whistle.
Katsina United came from behind to defeat Doma United 2-1 in another entertaining encounter. Luis Dadong converted a penalty in the 12th minute to give Katsina United the lead, but Doma United responded through Sadiq Rilwan in the 33rd minute. Mukhtar Ismail finally restored Katsina United’s lead with the winning goal in the 75th minute.
Plateau United recorded a convincing 2-0 victory over Inter Lagos. Gideon Monday opened the scoring in the 56th minute before Jibrin Ibrahim added the second goal 20 minutes later.
In Kano, Kano Pillars and Enyimba played out a goalless draw with both teams settling for one point after 90 minutes.
The result was a boost for Enyimba, who had endured a difficult start to the campaign and were looking for their first points after losing their first four league games.
Earlier, Sporting Lagos and Barau FC shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. Joseph Atule put Barau FC ahead from the penalty spot before Sodiq Ayoade equalized for Sporting Lagos in the second half.
