FIFA handed Eto’o a six-month ban

World football governing body FIFA has imposed a six-month ban on the chairman of the Cameroon Football Federation (FecaFoot), Samuel Eto’o.

The former Barcelona star is banned from attending any international matches involving his country.

He was sanctioned following a violation of two articles of FIFA’s disciplinary code.

The ban given by FIFA’s disciplinary panel was issued in connection with the U-20 Women’s World Cup last-16 match between Cameroon and Brazil on September 11, which the South American team won 3-1 after extra time.
