FIRS to reveal the tax book for children

The presentation is part of the activities scheduled to celebrate the celebrations for the day for children of 2025.

This was disclosed in a declaration issued on Thursday in Abuja by the director of the event, Jerry Adesanwo.

According to Adresanwo, the public launch of the educational book will take place on Tuesday 27 May in Abuja and will be hosted by Arojah Concepts and Desburse Publishing Ltd.

He explained that the book is designed as a simple driving for taxation for secondary school students.

“It was written by ArabinrinAronke Ejura Blessing Haruna and edited by Dr. Abubakar.

“The book aims to introduce Nigerian children to basic tax concepts, promoting financial literacy and civic responsibility since tender age”.

Adasanwo said that dr. Zacch Adedeji, president of Firs, will act as the main guest, while the vice -president of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettimo, will participate as a special guest of honor.

Other dignitaries who should participate include Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua, president of the Senate Committee for the Army; Dr. Aliyu Modibbo, former FCT minister; and Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, member of the room of representatives, among others.

The event will present book reviews, readings of the participating schools, as well as fun games and dance dramas.

He noticed the opportunity as an important step towards the promotion of fiscal education among the young Nigerians, thus laying the foundations for a more responsible and informed citizenship.
