Gunmen on Thursday kidnapped Madakin of Shabu community in Lafia local government area of Nasarawa State, Musa Shuaibu.
A resident of the community told reporters on Saturday that the victim was abducted a few meters from his residence and around 8pm on Thursday and taken to an unknown destination.
Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident in Lafia.

He said police officers had been deployed to the scene to rescue the victim.
“Efforts are underway to rescue the victims and apprehend the criminals,” the spokesperson added.
