Gunmen kill one person in Osun

Gunmen on Saturday killed one Kolade Eluyera in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of ​​Osun State.

Spokesman of the State Police Command, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed the incident to journalists in Osogbo.

He said the deceased was found with a gunshot wound.

Ojelabi said the incident was reported to the Ikire Divisional Police Headquarters on Saturday morning.

“From available information, the deceased was killed in the early hours of today.

“We have initiated investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding the murder.

“We are also working to arrest those responsible,” the spokesman said.
