I play like Osimhen: reveals new Juventus striker followed by Super Eagles coach

New Juventus striker Jeff Ekhator, who was signed from Serie A side Genoa, says his playing style is similar to that of Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen, reports OwnGoalNigeria.com.

This was made known during a meet and greet organized by the club for his presentation as a new player in their ranks. Head coach Luciano Spalleti considers it a big improvement for his attack.

“Playing here is no small feat. We are talking about a top-level club. Just reading the word ‘Juve’ is enough to get excited,” reveals the striker of Nigerian descent.

When asked to compare his playing style to that of Moisés Kean or Osimhen, who are role models, he made it clear that he sees himself in their light.

“Kean? I haven’t had the chance to meet him or talk to him personally yet. I hope to do so in the future. At the moment, my qualities reflect his and Osimhen’s: I try to learn as much as I can from them,” he wrote in the Tuttosport columns.

Nigeria senior national team coach Eric Chelle is a big admirer of the striker but will now face a huge battle to get him to change nationality after his debut for Italy’s senior team in a summer friendly match.
