Ighodaro will join Amazulu on loan

Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro will join South African club Amazulu on loan for the 2024/25 season.

According The times of iDiskiAmazulu have reached an agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns to sign the striker.

Usuthu are keen to bolster their attacking department following the recent departures of Victor Letsoalo and Augustine Kwem.

Ighodaro joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Abuja College in July 2021.

However, the 23-year-old has failed to establish himself at the club.

The player was in the SuperSport United squad last season.

Ighodaro scored eight goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Gavin Hunt’s side.

He was not included in Sundowns’ squad for their pre-season tour of Austria.
