IGqumelasha gives a strong demonstration of Ize Leze’s fifth song, called Ungenzislima. The eight-track project suits the track perfectly with its distinctive input UKhoz’olumpungaproviding depth and character to the album’s South African heritage.

One of the best short forms of storytelling through music is Ungenzislima, released in 2026. The voice and style of IGqumelasha and ukhoz’olumpunga combine to produce a focused dynamic that balances the overall flow of the project without overstaying its welcome.

It’s also a song that served its position as part of Ize Leze, giving it a central anchor that serves to support the narrative arc of the album. The collaboration is a short, editorially precise homage to South Africa’s diverse musical environment.
