Abuja (Core reporter) was a game to see on Saturday 23 August, since Likeminds FC Abuja welcomed Likeminds FC NSUKKA in a friendly meeting that saw visitors overcome their guests with a 2-1 victory. The game played at the Likeminds FC Arena, Utako Abuja, was organized by the honorable Chidi Mark Obetta which represents the federal electoral college of the south of Nsukka/Igboeze, an Enugu state in the tenth house of representatives.

It was a game to see on Saturday 23 August, since Likeminds FC Abuja welcomed Likeminds FC NSUKKA in a friendly meeting that saw visitors overcome their hosts with a 2-1 victory. The game played at the Likeminds FC Arena, Utako Abuja, was organized by the honorable Chidi Mark Obetta which represents the federal electoral college of the south of Nsukka/Igboeze, an Enugu state in the tenth house of representatives.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the game, Hon Obetta expressed joy for the game without injuries, although he was happy Likeminds Nsukka won the game, but he added that the reason for the friendly was to favor peace and unity between its members and the Likeminds FC, Abuja. Underlining that Likeminds FC Abuja is a cosmopolitan club in which each tribe in Nigeria is represented unlike their counters in NSUKKA, therefore, the need to make new friends, commercial partners for a more united Nigeria.

“It was a very interesting game, from the beginning to the end and there was no injury. The goal of the friendly was to encourage and enrich our cultural heritage and interaction. Here you have a mix culture and people of different extraction. So, the trip is good for my voters. He insists obthet.

The president of Likeminds FC Abuja, Mr. Onwa Nwaphororizu for his part expressed joy for the successful game, underlining that the reason for the friendly match was welcomed while both clubs are making new friends, business and political members.

On the score of 2-1 in favor of the visiting team, he said he was out of the magnimacy of his members to allow their visitors to bring the day.

In the meantime, his NSUKKA meter, Hon Dr. Cosmos Agbo was happy with the result of the game, adding that his men lived up to expectations.

Dr. Agbo thanked the convocator of the friendly match, Hon. Obetta, saying that the game offered them the opportunity to make new friends and strengthen the link between NSUKKA LIKEMinds FC and its counterparts in the FCT.

“Today I am a happy man, describes the challenges we had to face while we got, we were able to deal with the game as you can see, the 2-1 score is in our favor.
