MUSWEN seeks partnership with BOI on youth and women empowerment in the South West

The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) has called for a strategic partnership with the Bank of Industry (BoI) on youth and women empowerment in the sectors of agriculture, information and communications technology (ICT), education and health.

MUSWEN President, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo, made the appeal while leading a delegation to the Lagos office of the BoI.

Praising the dedication of the
The Managing Director/CEO of BoI, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, who received the delegation, Alhaji Oladejo, made a call for counterpart financing arrangements and collaborative financing models to fill the financing gaps faced by entrepreneurs and small businesses within the MUSWEN network.

In response, Dr Olusi expressed appreciation for MUSWEN’s initiatives and vision and declared the Bank’s willingness to collaborate with the organization in areas of mutual interest.

In the MUSWEN President’s delegation were Alhaji Rafiu Adisa Ebiti, Vice President I; Alhaji Wale Sonaike, Vice President II; Prof. Wole Abbas, Executive Secretary of MUSWEN; Alhaji. Lere Alimi, Chairperson of MUSWEN Economic Empowerment Committee and Alhaji Abdul-Wakeel Olaniyi, Director (Finance and Administration) of MUSWEN.
