Naira obtained N13.18 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, recovered to the US dollar on an official window on Thursday.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Foreign currency data shows that Naira is closed on N1, 536.08/$ 1 compared to N1.549.26/$ 1 which is traded on Wednesday.

This is the advantage of N13.18 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.575/$ 1.

Naira, however, gained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.170/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.175/£ 1.

Local currency closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

It also closes flatly against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
