Naira obtained N2.05 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, recovered to the US dollar on an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1.547.36/$ 1 compared to N1.549.41/$ 1 which was traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N2.05 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded at N1.605/$ 1.

Likewise, Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.160/£ 1.

Local currencies are also closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

However, it obtains N5 to the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,795/€ 1.
