The Nigerian equity market yelled at a three -week -old defeat in April with a profit of 966 billion for investors last week
Market capitalization rose to N66.4 trillion from N65.4 trillion in the previous week.
Likewise, the All-Share (ASI) index is valued at 1.46% to close the week with 105,752.61 points from 104,233.81 points recorded the previous week.
In the midst of the bearish trend, stocks such as International Brewers PLC (Interbrew), Nascon Allied Industries PLC (Nascon), Africa Prudential PLC (Afriprud), and Ikeja Hotel PLC (Ikeja Hotel) appeared among the top ten of the best shares.

Afriprud β’ 17.15 β΄ 0.55 (3.31%)
The current stock price of Africa Prudential PLC (Afriprud) is N17.15. The fear of shareholders may be eliminated with an increase in Afriprud’s share price of 12% since March 24, which is the 20th best in NGX.

Afriprud has traded a total volume of 211 million shares – in 13,863 agreements – assessed at NGN 6.01 billion during that period, with an average of 3.35 million shares traded per session. The highest volume of 23.3 million was achieved on March 10, and the lowest 500,505 on April 17, for the same period.
Intbrew β’ 7.70 β΄ 0.70 (10%)
The current stock price of the International Beer Factory (Intbrew) is N7.70. Intbrew closed his final trading day (Friday, April 25, 2025) at N7.70 per share on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NGX), recorded a 10% increase from the previous closing price N7.00. International Breweries began the year with N5.55 stock prices and since then obtained 38.7% of the price assessment, its 20th rank in NGX in terms of year-to-year performance. Shareholders can be optimistic about Intbrew knowing that shares have produced 50% over the last four weeks of the best-thirds in NGX.

The International Beer Factory is the 44th stock most traded on the Nigerian Stock Exchange over the past three months (January 23 – April 25, 2025). Intbrew has traded a total volume of 141 million shares – in 2,779 agreements – assessed at NGN 768 million during that period, with an average of 2.24 million shares traded per session. The highest volume of 14.2 million was achieved on January 29, and the lowest 23,933 on April 11, for the same period.
Nascon β’ 52.95 β΄ 4,70 (9.74%)
The current stock price of the National Salt Company (NASCON) is N52.95. Nascon closed his last trading day (Friday, April 25, 2025) at N52.95 per share on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NGX), recorded an increase of 9.7% of the previous closing price N48.25. The highest volume of 5.21 million was achieved on February 13, and the lowest 21,550 on April 16, for the same period.
