Ooni of Ife salutes Olubukola Babajide after his MBE award for technological excellence

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has described Olubukola Babajide, founder of Crystal Options Ltd, as a shining example of Nigerian excellence whose achievements continue to positively project the country on the global stage.

Babajide, a technology entrepreneur, was recently included in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honors List, where she was awarded the title of Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her contributions to technology, business development and social inclusion.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Ile-Ife through the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni Palace, Moses Olafare, the traditional ruler congratulated Babajide on the prestigious international recognition.
