Police arrest three suspected armed robbers in Lagos

Police officers in Lagos have arrested three suspected armed robbers in the state.

State police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this in a post on his X account on Friday.

He said the suspects were arrested at about 2:00 p.m. in the Ibeju-Lekki area of ​​the state.

The spokesman said: “Elemoro Division officers responded to an emergency call on Friday about three young men robbing pedestrians with a gun.

“A semi-automatic pistol loaded with bullets was recovered from the suspects.

“The arrest of the suspect led the police to find 26 live bullets.”
