Pope Francis died of a stroke, heart failure

The Vatican has released a certificate of death of Pope Francis, confirmed that he died of a stroke, which caused a coma and finally “Cardiosirculation collapse that could not be changed.”

The leader of the 88-year-old Catholic Church died on Monday morning, about one month after being released from the hospital 38 days for double pneumonia, according to Vatican reports and sources.

The official cause of Pope Francis’s death has been identified as a stroke, followed by coma and cardiosirculation collapse that cannot be changed. Andrea Arcangeli, Director of the Directorate of Health and Sanitation of the State of the Vatican City, issued an official medical certification, with the Holy See press office released a report on Monday night.

Medical reports detailed the previous whale health conditions, including a history of acute respiratory failure due to microbial bilateral pneumonia and several bronchiectases, as well as high blood pressure and type II diabetes.

His death was officially confirmed through Thanatography Electrocardiography. “I hereby declare,” wrote Dr. Arcangeli, “That the cause of death is the best of my knowledge and judgment, as stated above.”
