Rigging: No difference between APC and ADC, says Amaechi

*I REJECT THE INTRODUCED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during yesterday’s African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primaries, I unequivocally reject the engineered results announced.

I initially stated that I will accept the outcome of the Primaries only if the process is free, fair and transparent, and I keep my word. I will not accept the results of a process that does not reflect the values ​​that the ADC has pledged to uphold, to save Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement our country is currently facing at the hands of the ruling party.

There is no way that around eighty percent of party members were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept those results. So what makes us different from others? The idea of ​​the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the oppressed and make Nigeria a better place for all, regardless of background, ethnicity or religion.

A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, manipulation and result writing, cannot be involved in vote buying, result writing and other electoral malpractices that lead to the disenfranchisement of voters who are members of the party. This is not acceptable!
