Shooting in Osun: one dead

The Police in Osun State, on Saturday, confirmed the killing of one Kolade Eluyera by suspected gunmen in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of ​​the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed the incident, saying the deceased was found with gunshot wounds.

Ojelabi said the incident was reported to the Ikire Divisional Police Headquarters on Saturday morning.

“From available information, the deceased was killed in the early hours of today.

“We have started an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the murder.

“We are also working to catch those responsible,” he said.

Ojelabi added that the police will ensure that the culprits are brought to justice.
