Suspected bandits attack police camp, killing 3 officers in Kwara

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Camp at Tenebo Village in Kaiama Local Government Area of ​​Kwara State and killed three officers.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ojo Adekimi, confirmed the incident

in a statement issued on Saturday in Ilorin by the spokesperson of the state police command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi.

He added that seven other police officers were seriously injured in the attack.

The Communist Party condemned the attack and described it as a heinous and cowardly attack.

He praised the slain officers for their bravery and sacrifice in the line of duty.

“Their commitment to safeguarding lives and property will never be forgotten,” he said.
