The CAC problem warns three companies with a ‘fake establishment certificate’

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has told Nigerians about the activities of three companies operating with “False Establishment Certificates” and “registration number.

Three companies identified by CAC are Spef Cooperative Society Limited, Uplil Staff Cooperative Society Limited and Prem Staff Cooperative Society Limited.

The commission issued a warning in a statement issued on Monday and posted on its X platform.

The agency added that the cooperative community was found using two different RC numbers each, all of which were not in the data base.

The statement reads: “The general public hereby is told that the merger certificate carried out by the company listed below is not issued by the commission.

“They all have two different RC numbers that are not issued by CAC.

“These companies are: SPEF Cooperative Society Ltd RC Number 1265884 & 512862,” Cac.

“Upil Staff Cooperative Society Ltd RC Number 1265837 & RC 553220.

“Prem Staff Cooperative Society Ltd RC Number 1265844 & RC 545901”.

Cac warned that anyone who did business with this entity did it with their own risk.

“Anyone who transacts any business with the company mentioned above does it with its own risk.”
