Nigeria’s currency, the naira, recovered slightly against the United States dollar at the official window on Wednesday.
Officially, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data shows that the naira closed at N1,379.46/$1, compared with N1,380.70/$1, on Tuesday.
This represents a gain of N1.24 for the local currency against the dollar.

On the black market, the naira rose N2 against the dollar, trading at N1,398/$1, up from the previous day’s N1,400/$1.
The local currency closed flat against the British Pound and Canadian dollar, trading at N1,880/£1 and N1,100/CA$1 respectively.
The naira also closed flat against the euro, trading at ₦1,620/€1.
