The national president of Apga Ezeenkwa makes his father rest – Thage

The remains of the deceased chief Hon Sir Sylvester Anyarue Chukwuma Ezekenwa (Ksji), Ezeudo Umuchu, Ickie Ezenwata; Father of All Progressivity Grand Alliance (Apga) National President, Barr. Sly Ezeenkwa Jr was placed at rest in his hometown Umuchu, in the area of the local agua government in the state of anambra.

The Pontifical Mass Requiem held at the Holy Catholic Church, Umuchu was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of the diocese of Ekwulobia, his eminence Peter Eberechukwu Cardinal Okpaleke, with the bishop of the Nnewi diocese, most of the Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye Rev.; Bishop of the aguleri diocese, most of the Rev. Dennis Isiuzor; Ezeudo’s younger brother, very Rev. p. Boniface Ezeoke (Ichie) and numerous priests.

The dignitaries, members of the Knight of San Giovanni International, political leaders, traditional sovereigns and people of God have proved en masse to say goodbye.

Barr. Sly Ezekswa expressed gratitude to everyone. He testified that his father lived a life worthy of emulation while he said: “My father was a star of the diplomatic sky, one that every child would have liked to call his father. His service to humanity was like red paint on white canvas; bold, visible and unforgettable for everyone privileged to cross his part”. The Governor of the State of Anambra, prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo described him as a faithful member of Apga, who has dedicated a significant part of his life to the growth and sustenance of the party.

He said: “Today, we see the fruit of that dedication in the son who raised, Barr. Sly Ezeekswa who now guides our big party with vision, discipline and purpose. It is a powerful testimony of the values and inheritance that has instilled.”

For his part, his real height, Igwe Go Ezechukwu Oon Okwuruora Umuchu described the deceased Ezeudo as a man of peace, great son of Umuchu and perfect gentleman. So he urged his children to emulate his steps, even if he prayed to God to receive his soul.

Ezeudo was an icon, a hero, a knight of the church, a head of the Umuchu cabinet. It was the pioneer of President Apga Onitsha South Local Government Area. He was married to Lolo Lady Emilia Ezeenkwa. The wedding was blessed with children and grandchildren. He was 71 years old.
