The troops killed the suspect of terrorists, saved 16 hostages in a new attack

The troops deployed to the Operations Theater have killed a number of terrorist suspects in coordinated attacks throughout the country.

They also arrested 25 suspects and rescued 16 kidnappings in the operation.

Credible sources at the Nigerian Army headquarters in Abuja told reporters on Thursday that weapons, explosives, ammunition, petroleum products, motorbikes and various drugs were found by troops.

He said: “In the northeast, the troops gave a decisive blow to the elements of the ISWAP/JAS in the Kolori and Karumi Community in the Condempiring Local Government Area (LGA) from Borno and Madagali LGA from Adamawa.

“In North Mubi, the army thwarted smuggling of gasoline and fertilizer, while in Garkida, a terrorist suspect claimed to be involved in the previous attack on Damboa.

“Revealed goods include one M70AB2 rifle, four magazines and 150 rounds of NATO 7.62mm ammunition.”

“In northwest, 1 Brigade troops rejected several terrorist efforts in Maradun, Tsafe and Anka Lgas from Zamfara.

“At least six kidnapped victims were rescued and several motorbikes were confiscated.

“Kingpin The famous kidnapping was arrested in the village of Mayir in Sanga Lga in the state of Kaduna, following the right intelligence.
