‘With its qualifications, Seyi Tinubu can challenge his father as president’ -Bwala

Specific advisors for the Tinubu Ball President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, argued that the son of the President of the Tinubu soccer, Seyi, was very eligible to challenge his father for the position of the president because of his ‘impressive’ qualifications.

Bwala who made a statement in an interview at the Clarity Zone Podcast posted on YouTube on Wednesday, said those who questioned the qualifications of Seyi did it from the position of ignorance because he fully qualified for any political office in Nigeria, including the Governor of the State Lagos.

The controversial presidential assistant rejects criticism that Seyi’s political involvement is only related to his father’s influence, emphasizing that the first son not only built a strong reputation for himself as a bridge builder among young people, but also built himself for any political position he wanted to follow in the future.

“If Seyi Tinubu’s father is the President, what stopped him to run for the Governor of the State of Lagos? Seyi Tinubu could even challenge his father in the next election,” Bwala said.

“Is Seyi Tinubu not fulfilling the requirements to govern the state of Lagos? He hasn’t said he is running. But even if his father is the president, what stops him nominating himself as a governor?” Bwala stated.

He went further to describe the president’s son as a humble and simple personality despite his background as the son of former Governor of Lagos and now President Nigeria.

According to Bwala, Seyi Tinubu has maintained old friendship and has helped many young people secure opportunities in government, even party lines.

“At a point, he was even criticized to the people he brought to the government, which was mostly observed. It told you that he had no bias,” Bwala said.

“Unlike many children of Nigerian leaders in the past, Seyi Tinubu has not been associated with a scandal or public controversy.

“You will never see him attacking people on social media, even though his father is one of the most slandered in this new memory. He has built relations even with criticism of this government,” said the president’s aide.

“Until you experience someone, do not have opinions about them. Too many people inherit other people’s problems without private meetings,” he added.
