The Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communications, Daniel Bwala, has mocked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s comments about his intention to oust the president in the 2027 elections.
Atiku in a recent interview stated that it would be difficult for a coalition of one candidate to defeat President Bola Tinubu, and instead suggested a coalition of candidates from different zones.
“I won’t go into my strategy here, but the coalition candidates facing Bola Tinubu are “dead on arrival.” If each leader of this coalition succeeds in bringing his zone to electoral victory, where will Bola be?” asked Atiku.

“But we know you are the coalition candidate YET (don’t be annoyed sir), he beats you in 2023 when you have the governor, the state and the structure. The governor, the state and this structure with him.
“With the “STATELESS” coalition of leaders at a disadvantage, I doubt whether President Tinubu will bother checking the scoreboard on the day”, said Bwala who was once Atiku’s spokesperson.
