AFCON 2025: Morocc coach looking for a friendly game with Super Eagles

The chief coach of the national senior team of Morocco Walid Rugragui has started seriously plans for the next Cup of Nations in Africa (AFCON), which will organize in December.

The coach whose team was placed in group A after the draw with Comoros, Mali and Zambia. Remagui is already looking at the best ways to prepare his team for the task of lifting the trophy as host.

According to multiple reports in Morocco, he has told the FA that put the moving wheels for a friendly game with the best sides of Africa in Ivory Coast and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

He is of the opinion that the two teams, who were the finalist in the last AFCon, will prove to be worthy opponents against their team, before the tournament to prove their preparation.

Conversations with Nigeria are not expected to be complicated since both teams have a very good relationship, which led to the programming of a friendly game between its U20 teams, but was canceled when both were in the same group after the raffle for the U20 AFCon was made.
