Eid-El-Fotri: the minority repetitions are happy with Muslims, urges the prayers for Nigeria
Abuja (basic reporter) The minority house of the Chamber of Representatives Nigerian has felt with Muslim faithful throughout the country asking for prayers for peace, unity and progress in Nigeria.
This was contained in a Sallah message jointly signed by the leaders of Caucus, the representative Kingsley Chinda (minority leader), RT. Hon. (Dr) Ali Isa JC (minority Whip), RT. Hon. Aliyu Madaki (deputy leader of minorities) and Rt. Hon. George Ozodinobi (Vice Whip of minority.)
In the message, Caucus congratulates the whole Muslim Umbmah on the occasion of the Eid-El-Fitri celebrations this year, marking the end of the sacred month of Ramadan.
“In fact, it is a truly unique day for every faithful Muslim, as it is significant after the successful completion of the fasting of a month; which is one of the cardinal principles of Islam.
“While our Muslim brothers all over the country come together to others all over the world to mark this day of good omen; and confident that Allah accepted all the prayers and supplications during this period, the Caucus, further warn everyone to support the teachings, practice and lessons of the Holy month that includes virtues that change the life of virtue that change the life of virtue that changes life.
“Caucus also wants to impress all Muslims (and Christians; who are also observing Lent) to continually pray for peace, unity, progress and development of our dear country.
“We believe that through prayers, our leaders; at all levels will have the right wisdom, knowledge and understanding towards the navigation of the country through challenges and multisectoral difficulties that not only limit the realization of the potentials of Nigeria, but throw our people in immeasurable difficulties and corrosive poverty.
“In the same way, the Caucus urges the federal government; through the relevant agencies to guarantee the protection of lives and properties throughout the country, following the recent security challenges testified in some locations and communities of the North West, North Central, South East and South South Geo-Political”, says the note.
