Getfit International Fitness Club Storms Mbaise for the burial of the coordinator’s father

Last week Getfit International Fitness Club of the State of Lagos visited Mbaise for the burial of the father of their coordinator in Otulu, Asiazu Mbaise. The team has exploited the opportunity to visit the president of the Emi State Mini Football Association and CEO of the G Innovation Football Club of Lagos, Mr. Chigie Nwagwu, who hosted one of the best recreational clubs in Lagos State. They experienced the renowned hospitality of the people of Mbaise.

Mr. Nwagwu, a member of the visiting team, warmly welcomed them in his farm home, a unique space in which nature and human life coexist harmoniously. The farm, known to feed various pets, including snakes, has fascinated the members of the team visiting with its distinctive atmosphere.

By expressing his joy in receiving the team, Mr. Nwagwu showed off the peaceful and natural environment of his farm. The visiting team was led by the Bot Chikwado Okeke (Cilo), the founder of the club, and the bot Denis Agambator (02). The club’s captain, Bensucesss Nnachor, together with other members of the diaspora, represented Getfit United International Club, an all-stars sports club based in the state of Lagos, Nigeria. They expressed their gratitude and admiration for the warm hospitality extended to them in Mbaise.

Inspired by the memorable experience, the team expressed their will to return to the IMO state for a friendly match in the coming months. Club members appreciated the warm reception and praised the way in which the initiative is promoting the spirit of the community through sport and nature in Mbaise, further enriching their understanding of the Mbaise nation.
