Owerri, the capital of the State of IMO, met on Saturday while hosted dignitaries and supporters who gathered to attend the Igbankwu ceremony (traditional wedding) between David Achudume, son of the founder of the victory of the Bible Life Bible, Apostle Lawrence Achudume and his bride, Precious Chukwu.
The colorful event, which took place at the Mayfair Hotel Diploma in the heart of Owerri, was marked by Pomp and Pageantry while guests from all over the country embellished the opportunity, dressed in traditional shiny clothes.
The couple, wearing coordinated wine -colored clothes, stole the spotlight with their radiant smiles and the royal appearance.
The atmosphere was set with luxurious curtains and a podium decorated with taste, creating an environment of elegance that suits the high profile celebration.
The event was also a significant meeting for the Christian community of Nigeria, with important clerics of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and other religious bodies present.
The ceremony, full of spiritual exhortations and felt prayers, underlined the sacredness of the Union.
In their messages, the men of God underlined the holiness of marriage as ordered by God, urge the couple to place Christ at the center of their home and resolve conflicts amicably without interference of third parties.
The apostle Lawrence Achudume, father of the groom, expressed profound gratitude to God, describing the opportunity as a moment of fulfillment for every parent.
Coated in traditional white and wine clothing, he prayed for a happy union and advised the couple to embrace the new phase of life with responsibility and love.
“This is a season of joy. The prayer of every parent is to see their child established and happy. Bless this union and both charged to build a house centered on Christ,” he said.
The prominent personalities present at the ceremony included the National Secretary of PFN, Bishop David Bakare; Vice-president PFN (South-East), Bishop Maxwell Korie; Former President of the South-East of the Christian Association of Nigeria (Can), Archbishop Goddy Okafor; President of the ICIC, Bishop Abraham Chigbundu; Bishop Maxwell Egbe; Bishop Jude Akhere; And the apostle Mike Tomowewo.
Uloma Ojeias, Dr. and Mrs. Ben Akhigbe, members of the victory of the Bible Life Bible and families of both the bride and the groom, who joined the joyful beginning of the couple, were also present.
