This is the only restaurant that made me ashamed to be Italian. Sorry Old Key Jeff.
We are going to Mama Melrose in April. I'm liking the idea of chicken parm, but I'm going to ask for angel hair pasta 🤞
We are new DVC members and were excited to book our first points stay in July for the Epcot Moonlight Magic DVC event. BUT… I have been reading horror stories about how difficult it is to get tickets. Any advice?
I just booked a lunch reservation for our short trip in March! We’ve never been – we will give it a send-off !
I love Mama Melrose
I only ate there once, just before covid, but I had one of the best steaks I've ever had at Disney.
Looks awful
My next visit will be my first and last time. I just never did it.
I’m so picky about Italian food , I grew up 10 min from the North End in Boston, it’s hard to get good Italian for me elsewhere. I haven’t eaten here since 2017 but I think I enjoyed it enough
Blaspheme!!! Jeff, Hollywood Brown Derby is really good. Can't believe you trashed it😢
This place gets a LOT of negative reviews but we have yet to have a bad meal there. About the only thing I can remember was my daughter‘s kids baked fish meal was overly salty back in 2010 but other than that we have been happy.
Fingers crossed we can enjoy one more time and say good bye!
Not sad about the restaurant, but angry with Disney getting rid of Muppets 3D.
I worked at Mama Melrose for my Spring 1997 Disney College Program. Great memories.
I wasn't sad until this video 😭
Isn’t this the worst rated restaurant in any park?
I’m so sad. This is our absolute favorite restaurant. We go absolutely every trip. And have even gone more than once in a week one time. The macaroni they served with their steak is to die for. I am going to miss it so much. So many memories. I feel like we’ve probably eaten there over 30x and we are not locals. 😢
Food there was horrible after COVID. Maybe better now
Great vid
lol I’m not really picky she said I’m just getting whole kitchen to contour my order. Amy❤😅
3 visits, 3 fails.
💙💙💙
Mama Melrose was always terrible. Good riddance
Wow. How nice of them to customize Amy’s pasta! I’m not sure I should admit this, but I’ve never been there. You’re making me think we should try it before it closes.
Brown Derby is the best by far!
Im legit sad this area is going away. I know covid caused the shops to close there but pizzarizzos is in our hearts and a must do everytime we visit. Plus the kids like to dance upstairs
We tried it for the first time about a year ago and it was very disappointing. Bad service, bad food and way over-priced. We’ve been to Tony’s Town Square twice and find it much more enjoyable despite its lackluster reputation.
I've never had a chance to try this!
I’m really going to miss Maui Melrose. It was a staple for my family on our Disney trips, and one of my favorite spots to take visitors at Hollywood Studios. It offered a great break from the park’s hustle and bustle.
I always thought their food was pretty decent. But had a long wait (with a reservation) and very bad service. So after three consistent fails, never went back.
