Jamb GLUSK: OLOYEDE deserves praise, does not condemn – Prof. Yusuf Ali San

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prof. Yusuf Ali, has increased in strong defense of the chancellor of the joint committee for admissions and registrations (Jamb), Prof. Is-Haq Hlarewaju Oloyede, describing it as an incarnation of integrity and responsibility in the public service, despite the recent disputes that surround the 2025 Unified Terticuculation Examination (profitlation (Use of emission (profitulation (unified profitulation, which describes it as a serialting exception (Ufatiliutta.

In a press declaration issued on Friday, Prof. Ali, who identified Oloyede as a close collaborated of almost five decades, said that the repercussions following the technical motorboats recorded in some parts of the South-East and Lagos during the Utme was unfair and did not recognize the uncommon candor demonstrated by the jamb boss in the management of the crisis.

“Prof. Is-Haq Oloyede is one of the very few individuals for whom I can swear with the sacred Koran about their honesty, integrity, transparency, incorruptibility, human empathy and altruism,” said Ali.

The legal luminary recognized that while the interruption of the examination due to third -party technical failures influenced about 300,000 of over 1.5 million candidates at national level, Oloyede’s decision to admit the defects and order a recovery of the test for the candidates concerned was a bold and captivating move in a country where public officials often deny or hold responsibility.

“That he decided not to take the path of most public employees in our country by dealing with the complaints about the exam with impunity led some of the commentators to ask for the head.

“I dare say that the path he had chosen – to admit errors, possess and show a real empathy – is rare in our part of the world,” he said.

Prof. Ali rejected the requests for the resignation of Oloyede, describing these requests as out of place.

He stressed that the real leadership involves a position of position during adversity, not on the run when challenges arise.

“No serious leaders will abandon his people when a crisis. It makes much sense that it should not abandon the ship but be virile enough to see until the end of the problem,” he said.

Ali also described Jamb’s boss as a tireless administrator, observing that Oloyede personally supervises Jamb preparations for his annual exams, often making visits not announced to offices across the country, even at odd hours.

He also praised the antecedents of Oloyede, remembering his successful mandate as vice -changing of the University of Ilorin and other national positions, which have been marked with excellence and discipline.

“In-Sha Allah, his mandate in Jamb will not be different,” concluded the declaration.

The 2025 UTME was spoiled by reports of technical failures in several computer -based test centers, pushing Jamb to reprogram the exam for interested candidates.

The Council, however, reassured the public of his commitment for equity and transparency in the conduct of his exams.
