Many are injured in the collapse of the lagos building

Some people were injured in the collapse of the building along the Adeniji Adele road on Lagos Island on Thursday.

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (Lastma) confirmed the incident in the verified X grip.

He added that the victims trapped under the debris were rescued and immediately taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.

“There were reports about buildings that collapsed overnight along Adeniji Adele Road, in Isale Eko. Lastma personnel, other emergency respondents and people from the Nigerian police were all on land.

“The current traffic flow is not affected along the corridor because our personnel are firmly at the traffic monitoring site. The victims saved from the building have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

“Our officials have diverted traffic from Zenith again through the Oba Palace to use ENU OWA to their various destinations.”
