Super Falcons de Five Star went to Zambia to get to Wafcon Semis

Today, the Super Falcons presented their best performance at the WAFCon 2024 when they shot Zambia 5-0 to march to the semifinals.

The Super Falcons now wait for the winners of the quarterfinals among the defenders Seth Africa and Senegal later today.

It was an emphatic victory for the Nigerians who expelled the pain of losing to the Zambianos in the third game three years ago, also in Morocco.

This confrontation between two of the best teams in Africa won and lost in the first half when Nigeria shot three goals beyond copper queens.

As expected, Zambia pursued the game after the break only for the Super Falcons to expose the many deficiencies in the background of the southern Africans.

Tosin Demehin went home to Nigerian’s fourth goal with a free kick from Okoronkwo in 68th minute.

Ajibade made the fifth goal when he ran to the box to deliver a low crossing for folashade ijamilusi to simply take advantage of the empty Zambia network.
