Clifford points to a new PB of 100 m in the African Athlete Championship

The 100-meter Athlete of Nigeria, Igbigbidje, James Clifford, said his ambition is to register a new (PB) personal (PB) in the U-18 and U-20 African athlete championship in the MKO ABIOLA, Abekuta, Ogun state stadium.

Clifford registered 11.44s, ending behind Mukoma Manavhela in South Africa 11.38 to emerge as the second in heat race 1 of 100m, obtaining a ticket to the semifinals.

According to him, 11.44 does not reflect his current PB at 10.50 in 100m, hoping to improve and improve the result in the SEMI and possibly in the final/

“This was not the career I planned, I think I can do better in the semifinals or the final although, but it has been great here, the atmosphere is fine. The moment is not really what we program, but thank God I can reach the semifinal.

“I hope to get a PB in the semifinals. By the grace of God, I will strive for the gold medal,” he said.
