Odumegwu-Ojukwu states that Nigeria has committed itself to improving relationships with Ghana
Accra (Core Reporter) Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining solid relations with the Republic of Ghana, including the city level to citizen.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the white ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu made this known during his continuous two-day visit to the country of West Africa.
The minister is in Ghana to face the situation of relations with the citizens of Nigeria-Ghana and meets with the parties concerned relevant to both ends including the president of Ghana, the country’s foreign minister, the traditional sovereigns and the Nigerians residing in the country, to ensure that the life, property and businesses of Nigeria and Nigerians who live in Ghana are protected.
As part of the commitments for the minister, a few minutes after remaining at Kotoka Accra international airport, Ghana, Tuesday evening, had a quick interface with the Ghana police inspector general, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, who was going to London, in the United Kingdom.
Odumegwu-Ojukwu continued similar commitments on Wednesday with Ghanaian officials and leaders of the Nigerian community. And one would expect to return to Nigeria on Thursday 31 July 2025.
