Nigeria, Brazil deepen bilateral relationships for stronger health, device.

Brasilia (Reporter Core) President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu state visit to Brazil has strengthened Nigeria-Brazil relationships, with particular attention to health cooperation and economic development.

According to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the visit is the “restart of the Nigeria-Brazil report”.

Both presidents have shown a stimulating brotherhood and an unusual commitment to strengthen South-South cooperation for the benefit of the two countries.

During the bilateral interaction of high level, of ministers and high government officials, it was an opportunity to trace a way to follow in the health cooperation between Nigeria and Brazil.

Nigeria proposed the development of a five -year -old joint action plan to take the memorandum of understanding in July between the Federal Health Ministry, Nigeria and the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil forward.

Nigeria has also proposed a strategic government contract for the government procurement for the health sectors of our 2 countries.

The Minister of State for Health and Social Wellness, dr. Iziaq Kunle Salako is part of the delegation during the state visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Brazil.
