IHEANACHO Join Scottish Celtic Champion

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has reunited with Brendan Rodgers coach at the Scottish Celtic Premiership club.

The champion announced the signing of Nigeria International, who stated that he signed a one -year contract with an additional one -year option.

LaLiga man 28 -year -old Laliga club on Monday after his contract ended by the club.

Iheanacho worked under Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers during his time with Leicester City, and now will hope to have useful time under him at Celtic.

“I know Kelechi very well and what he can bring to the team. He is a very talented player, with the ability, athletic, and a great level of work,” Rodgers told the club’s official website.

“I am sure he will be happy to be in Celtic and I believe our fans will like what he is carrying. He has great experience and he is right in the peak years so that he can be a great signing to us. I am sure he will make a big contribution to the team.”

Iheanacho spent the end of the 2024/25 season with a loan with the British championship team, Middlesbrough.
