Iwobi’s score when Fulham sailed past Brentford

Super Eagles striker Alex Iwobi is right on target because he helped Fulham come from behind to defeat Brentford 3-1 in the Premier League match on Saturday night.

Iwobi scored a balancing goal in the 38th minute after Mikkel Damsgaard opened the score for visitors in the 20th minute.

International Nigeria continued to provide assistance to Fulham’s second goal when Harry Wilson fired the host ahead for the first time in the match.

At the beginning of the second half, Ethan Pinnock pointed the ball into his own net to place Fulham further forward, when they survived to win.

This is the second victory for Team Marco Silva this season, and the victory helped them rise to seventh on the table while Brentford went down to the 17th place.

Super Eagles Iwobi teammates, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze are also in the match squad for Fulham, while Frank Onyeka is a substitute that is not used for Brentford.
