DELTA STATE SCHOLARSHIP BOARD RELEASES APPLICATION FORM FOR 2024/2025 SESSION

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public and particularly students from Delta State that the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has commenced online registration for students’ scholarships for the 2024/2025 Special Assistant to Students (SSAS) Scheme of the State Government.

AWARD CRITERIA:

The candidate must be from Delta State

Must have a National Identification Number (NIN)

Must be a full-time registered student at government approved private and public higher education institutions ONLY (PGD, Masters and PHD students are NOT eligible)

Must have a GPA of 2.20 or above in the previous academic year’s exam

Be in second year (200 and above) in ND II and HND universities in polytechnic/monotechnic schools and NCE II-III in teacher training colleges

Must have an account with a CBN approved commercial bank

HOW TO REGISTER:

Log on to http://www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng

then click on “APPLY NOW” to submit your scholarship form. You will be charged a non-refundable fee of Eight Hundred Naira (N800.00) only for online processing using a debit card.

The online thank you card should be downloaded here and printed for your personal records.

NOTE: Registration/site opening is valid for a period of four (4) weeks (Monday, July 1st to Wednesday, July 31st, 2024). A physical verification will be carried out at the closing of registration.
