President Bola Tinubu strongly condemned the recent assassination attempt on former United States President Donald Trump.
The incident occurred during a political rally on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania, US, where Trump narrowly escaped harm.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Trump recounted, “I was shot with a bullet that went through the top of my right ear.”
Authorities said 20-year-old Thomas Crooks fired multiple shots during the protest, leaving one person dead and two others injured. The Secret Service reported that Crooks fired from an “elevated position outside the protest” and was quickly “neutralized” by agents.
