The President of Anambra State Football Association, General Chikelu Iloenyosi, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of his dear friend and supporter, Mr Valentine Eke.
Speaking emotionally, Iloenyosi described the late Eke as “a brother, a confidant and my number one supporter”, adding that his death came as a painful shock.
“I have lost a true friend who stood by me in difficult times,” said the football administrator, recalling the encouragement and support he received from the deceased over the years.
The Anambra FA President noted that the late Valentine Eke played an important role during the struggle to regain his position and throughout the process of restructuring the football federation in the state.
General Iloenyosi also expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, praying for strength and comfort for all those affected by the loss.
