API RAZES 300 Shops in Kano Phone Market

Fire on Friday tore around 300 shops in the popular mobile market at Kano State.

Market Chair, Jamilu Gama, confirmed the incident to journalists in Kano.

He said the goods, including telephone and accessories, were worth millions of naira were destroyed by Inferno which lasted about seven hours.

Gama said: “Items worth hundreds of millions of naira missing in this unfavorable incident.

“Lost with inferno is goods and wealth. In one shop, you can find items worth N500 million, and in some cases, up to N1 billion. They are truly burning.”
