Barau Football Club extends humanitarian support to Kano fans and less privileged people

Barau Football Club has continued to demonstrate its commitment to humanitarian service by reaching out to its fans and members of the less privileged community in Kano State.

Today, the club’s coach, Eugene Agagbe, on behalf of Barau Football Club, visited persons with disabilities at their gathering point along the Aztec Sporting Arena, Kano. During the visit, the coach donated Barau FC shirts and shared meals with them in a gesture of love, compassion and solidarity.

Speaking during the visit, Coach Agagbe described the initiative as an extension of the humanitarian and philanthropic vision of the club’s patron, Senator Dr. Barau I. Jibrin, whose passion for giving back to society continues to inspire the club’s activities.

He further noted that the commitment reflects the charitable values ​​consistently demonstrated behind the scenes by the club’s general manager Dominic Iorfa, as well as the philanthropic leadership of the club’s president, Shawall Barau Jibrin.

Coach Agagbe stressed that Barau Football Club is more than a football club, it is a club founded on the principles of charity, humanitarian service and community development. He assured fans that this represents only the first phase of the club’s outreach programme, revealing that the players will join future visits to orphanages, disabled centers and other less privileged communities in Kano State and beyond.

The humanitarian commitment comes as Barau Football Club continues its pre-season preparations in preparation for the upcoming football season, reaffirming the club’s commitment to having a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
