Battle between young football administrators: Tamuno’s Ikorodu City against Amobi’s Rangers

As Matchday 6 of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) kicks off, the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Lagos will host the match between Ikorodu City FC and defending champions, Rangers International of Enugu.

Aside from the football aspect, it promises to be a battle between two young administrators, Emmanuel Tamuno of Ikorodu City and Amobi Ezeaku of Rangers International.

Tamuno is expected to lead his team against in-form Rangers who are yet to taste defeat this season.

More importantly, the Ikorodu City GM will have a chance to beat Rangers who are yet to taste defeat against Ikorodu City in Nigeria’s top flight.
