Commissioner Incen Osun warns staff against indiscipline before the CVR survey, 2026

Online registration begins on August 18, physical registration follows August 25th

The resident electoral commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) in the State of Osun, Dr. Mutiu Agboke, issued a severe warning for electoral officials and the staff of the Commission against acts of indiscipline and sabotage in the face of the recording of continuous voters (CVR) and 2026 election of the government in the state.

Speaking during an engagement session held at the Incen state office in Osogbo Tuesday, Agbake recalled the electoral officers (EOS), the official electoral assistants (AEOS) and leaders of unity at the state office of their critical roles in the success of the next electoral processes.

He said that online registration will begin on August 18, 2025, while physical registration should begin on August 25, 2025, through the 30 offices of the local government and the headquarters of the State. Two recording centers will be set up in each position.

Dr. Agboke has outlined the key services to be rendered during the CVR exercise, including: nRegistration of EW voters for Nigerians eligible for or over 18 years of age; COrrection or updating of electoral cards (PVC); TRansfer of voting locations; erPvc -lost or damaged PVC.

Describing the next exercise like Erculeo, Agboke urged all staff to be diligent and professional.

He warned against the bad management of the crowd, political interference, extortion and other non -ethical practices.

“There will be no room for indolence or reckless attitude. This is the time to work. Are you ready?” He asked the officers.

While expressing the trust in the readiness of the staff, the RIP has not chopped words on the consequences of the misconduct. .

He warned that any officer discovered that the sabotage of the process would be pursued.

“We will not hesitate to pursue anyone who floats the guidelines. It is not time to use the exercise for selfish interests, nepotism or commercial gain.

“The Commission will provide all the necessary materials, including the allowances. The best practices must be followed,” he said.

Agbake, however, praised the dedication so far shown by the commission staff and urged them to maintain the momentum.

“I am proud of all of you. We work together for success. No laziness, no impression, no delay. Look at your health, eat well and prepare to give the best to the CVR process,” he concluded.
