“I want to become a better player every day”: Afekhuai Wonders begins a new chapter at Buruj Sports Academy

Edo State young winger Afekhuai Wonders Arepita has officially started a new chapter in his football journey after registering with Buruj Sports Academy.

Wonders arrived at the academy with his mother, who was present to support her son as he took this important step in his football and academic development.

The talented winger joins Buruj with a clear ambition: to improve his football skills while remaining committed to his education.

Wonders, who is 5.5ft tall and weighs 51kg, is currently an SS1 Science student. His move to Buruj provides him with an environment in which he can pursue his sporting and academic ambitions.

The academy has warmly welcomed the young man and is committed to supporting his growth on and off the pitch, with an emphasis on football development, discipline, character and education.

For Wonders and his family, the registration marks an important moment in his development as he begins to work towards his dream of becoming a professional footballer.

Speaking after completing his registration, the young winger said:

“I want to be a better player every day. I am grateful for this opportunity to join Buruj Sports Academy and I am ready to learn from my coaches, work hard and improve my game. I also want to take my education seriously because I know it is important for my future.”
