AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata has vowed to give his best to the team ahead of the new Serie A season.

In a chat with Italy footballThe Spanish striker said he cannot promise the club the title, but he will help the team achieve something positive.

“It was the team that wanted me the most, that made the most effort. At the Euros, it already seemed like I was a Milan player. I need feelings and confidence.”

“They have shown me confidence, I have heard many times that Milan is Milan, since I arrived here everything has been incredible. It is difficult to find a club with this organisation, I don’t see it. It is time to get out on the field. I can’t promise titles, but I promise that I will run like a dog to put pressure on too.

“Winning, scoring 50 or 60 goals, is not what I’m interested in. In the end, you have to win and enjoy the journey, understand that we are a team and that there are many great players. When I joined Milanello, I felt the air that is in the air, I can only do better than in the past. If I am here it is because I want to bring the second star, help this club to make even more history. These are the last years of my career, but also the best because I have reached maturity.”
