Naf killed 30 suspected terrorist boko haram in Borno

The Hadin Kai Operation Air Component (OPHK) has killed more than 30 Boko Haram terrorists in a decisive joint operation with land troops in the state of Borno.

Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force (Naf), Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, revealed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

He said the operation, which was carried out on Friday, took place in Dar-El-Jamal Village in the Bama regional government in the state, following a report on a severe terrorist involvement against friendship forces.

He added that the troops acted quickly to the situation report and mobilized intelligence, supervision, and reconnaissance (ISR) and the mission of the Air Prohibition (AI).

The spokesman said: “Upon arrival in Dar Jamel, Aircrew who visually identified the friendship forces before the Scan ISR revealed that terrorists fled north from the city to the nearest bushes.

“In a series of three right and successive attacks, terrorists who fled firmly were involved, producing neutralization of more than 30 rebels.

“Shortly thereafter, the strengthening forces arrived at the location, secured the area, and stabilized the situation.

“The success of highlighting the smooth synergy between air and land power, underlines the effectiveness of joint efforts in counter-terrorism operations.”
