Nollywood actor died after eating rice at Imo

Two Nollywood actors in IMO died on Friday after eating rice in the state.

The IMO State Command spokesman, Henry Okoye, confirmed the incident in a statement on Saturday at Ontorri.

He said the order had begun an investigation to reveal the situation around the incident.

The spokesman said: “Yes, the order is aware of an unnatural death case. I can confirm that two people were declared dead, while the other two were hospitalized.

“When I talked to you, the Police Commissioner for the State of IMO, Aboki Danjuma, has directed a pathologist to test two people who died to ascertain the cause of death.

“The results will determine the next action line in this matter.”
