One dead, eight injured in blast in Israel

One person was killed and eight others injured in an explosion near the United States in Tel Aviv early Friday.

Israel’s rescue service, Magen David Adom, confirmed the incident on platform X.

The injured have been taken to hospital while surrounding buildings were damaged by the blast.

The cause of the explosion was initially unclear.

However, unconfirmed reports suggest that the explosion may have been caused by a drone strike.
